Inosita Plus 50mg/850mg Tablets

Uses:

Dual therapy: It is used for treating diabetes type 2 along with metformin or a glitazone when patients respond inadequately to diet changes, exercise and either metformin or glitazine, or in combination with sulphonylureas in patients contraindicated for metformin, and for patients that do not respond adequately to sulphonylureas alone.

Side Effects:

The patients administered with this medicine may experience pancreatitis (inflammation of pancreas), allergic reactions, Stevens-Jhonson Syndrome (allergic reaction), Hypoglycemia (low glucose levels), bullous pemphigoid (large fluid-filled blisters), osteoarthritis (weak bones), upper respiratory tract infections, flatulence, swelling, and influenza (flu-like symptoms). 

When not to use:

Pregnancy During pregnancy, Sitagliptin should be used only when clearly needed. Consult your doctor for more information.Lactation Sitagliptin should be used cautiously in nursing females. Consult your doctor for more information.Driving This medicine might affect your driving ability if your blood sugar levels become too low. Avoid driving until your glucose levels Sitagliptin is probably safe to use in liver patients. Consult your doctor for more information.Kidney Sitagliptin should be used cautiously in kidney patients. Dose adjustment might be required. Consult your doctor for more information.Alcohol Alcohol consumption should be avoided during the course of treatment. It is considered unsafe. Consult your doctor for more information.
